 Quartz Stone Dining Table

Quartz is one of the most abundant naturally occurring minerals on earth. Quartz is composed of natural quartz crystals, making one of the most beautiful and durable countertop selections for your home. Colors can vary from bright shades to earthy tones; finishes range from glossy sheen to matte, and the surface can offer a natural stone appearance to resemble granite or even marble.  Quartz is considered natural in some quarters while others refer to it as semi-synthesized.

There is a bit more of durability with a quartz countertop. While granite, or other stones are also quite durable, there is a difference with quartz, as it is a little bit more forgiving. This is because the others countertop may be prone to a bit of chipping and crackin. Quartz resists stains much better than natural stone surfaces like granite and marble. quartz’s durable finish means the stains won’t get as deep as they would with porous natural stone. As a result, you can remove the stains much easier.  If the stain does not go away grab a cloth and dampen it with the appropriate quartz countertop cleaner and rub off the stain. You then will want to remove any residue by rinsing the countertop with warm water.
